⚙ share difficulty: auto-tuned per machine — the pool aims for about one share every 15 s so your hashrate reads steadily. This only changes how often you report, never your payout.

1choose how you mine
PPLNS (default)
Every share you send is re-hashed and credited. When the pool finds a block, the reward is split over the last 2× network difficulty of verified work. Steady income, low variance.
--key YOUR_JTM_ADDRESS.rig1
SOLO SOLO
Add a .solo segment to the worker name. A block you find is 100% yours (minus the same 2% fee). Pure luck: at the current network rate, expect long gaps below a few % of the network.
--key YOUR_JTM_ADDRESS.rig1.solo
Your address is your login: there is no account and no password. Use a Jetsam mainnet address (j1…, 60 characters) from the Jetsam desktop wallet or
jetsam-cli. A wrong or test-network address is refused at connection.2CPU miner — traceminer_jetsam (recommended)
TowerWalk is a CPU proof-of-work (a 512 KiB cache-resident walk per thread). traceminer_jetsam is our build of towerminer, the open-source (Apache-2.0) CPU miner for TowerWalk: download it from github.com/jetsam-chain/towerminer/releases ↗, verify the archive against the published SHA256SUMS, then rename the binary to
traceminer_jetsam (same program, same checksum)../traceminer_jetsam --rpc http://POOL:3334 --key YOUR_JTM_ADDRESS.rig1
Windows:
traceminer_jetsam.exe --rpc http://POOL:3334 --key YOUR_JTM_ADDRESS.rig1. One process per machine is enough — it uses every core it is allowed to (--cpus / --threads-per-core to limit it).The official miner from the Jetsam release (
jetsam-miner) works the same way: jetsam-miner --rpc http://POOL:3334 --key YOUR_JTM_ADDRESS.rig1.⚠ These miners speak the node's external-mining protocol: they print every pool share as “submit refused: share accepted (difficulty …) — not a block”. That line is a credited share, not an error. A real block shows as SOLVED.
3stratum (custom miners)
stratum+tcp://POOL:3334 user: YOUR_JTM_ADDRESS.rig1 pass: x
JSON-lines stratum, same message shapes as the other Jetsam stratum in use (
parano1d-stratum-v1): mining.notify carries one job object (pow_fields_hex, share_target_hex, block_target_hex, nonce_prefix_hex = bytes 8…15 of the 16-byte little-endian nonce, pow_walk); submit [job_id, nonce_hex, work_domain_id]. Digest = TowerWalk(TowerHash(fields)), compared as a little-endian 256-bit integer. Optional password d=NNN sets the starting share difficulty. Miners locked to another pool's handshake will not connect here.4fees, payouts, trust
Fee: 1% pool + 1% software = 2% total, in PPLNS and in SOLO. The 1% pool fee is taken from every credited reward. The 1% software fee is applied by whole-job redirection: on average 1 job in 100 that you receive credits its shares (or, in solo, its block) to the fee address. Your expected income is exactly 98%; a solo block is never split.
Payouts: automatic every 3 h once your balance reaches 1 JTM; the Jetsam network fee of the payout transaction is deducted from it. A block is credited only after 10 confirmations, when the canonical block at that height carries the pool's winning nonce.
Verified, not declared: every share is re-hashed by the pool (TowerWalk, the consensus code). Hashrates, balances and the PPLNS split come only from verified work — a number a miner reports about itself is never used.
